alpha Posted June 22, 2012 Posted June 22, 2012 Anyone have problems with sound in after the 1.6 patch. I get a loud screech and then sound cuts out when loading new areas or going near flames. This happens with my onboard realtex audio, my soundblaster x-fi platinum, and using the hdmi audio from my gtx 570. I updated all of my drivers and even tried beta drivers. Reinstalled the game after removing all associated directories without mods. Reset my audio rate and bit depth to each different setting. Used 3 different speaker/headsets and it is still happening. Each time it happens I have to exit and reload the game to get sound back. Skyrim is the only application I have trouble with and only since the 1.6 patch. Found a couple other posts on the bethsoft forums but no help. Any other ideas to help me out would be appreciated.
