Gcontest Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 1. I'm planning to support some authors of adult games in here on patreon, will my payments on patreon be tracked? If so, will the payment info just include what site the money was paid to? 2. How safe is it to use debit card on patreon? I'm simply planning to support people with my debit info but delete it after I'm done
Guest Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 When you support an author to Patreon, the author gets the email access you used, the name you used to create the Patreon login, and knows the amount of money you sent. And all the messages you may send to the Patreon pages. No other payment information is given to the people that are receiving the money. They get paid by Patreon directly. In case you decide to support LL, please send a PM to Ashal, informing about the email and the corresponding account on LL. Sadly there is no way to match Patreon account with LL account automatically.

Especially if its adult related orsexually related? Dont worry I'm over 18 just paranoid Also is using a debit safe on patreon? Unless you answered that inyour responde
Guest Posted December 21, 2016 Posted December 21, 2016 On your bill (at least in US) you will just see the total amount of money for ALL your patronages each month (if you send more than 100$ to a single patron you get billed right away.) And the line sais that you are paying Patreon, not the actual receivers. Debit cards are accepted. Of course if at the end of the month there is no money inside, your patronage will not go through.

So pretty much anyone that is tracking my payments like visa or paycheckplus, would see that i paid this # money on patreon but won't know who I specifically paid on the website? Yes I know that the website support debit cards but would it give the debit cards the same protection given to credit cards?

About your second question: pre-paid cards and debit cards are more secure than credit cards. This because there is a limit of actual money that can be got from the card (credit card can go consume money that is not yet available.)

Oh good, I don't want trackers to know that I am specifically paying/supporting for "Loverslab" games on patreon...So just to make sure one more time my debit card trackers are only able to see that I just paid this # of money on patreon website but doesn't go into specifically who it is going towards to or what author the money is going to, for privacy purposes right? Huh, that is odd, usually its the other way around for debit cards when it comes to being more secure
