NuclearCooki3 Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 All other applications work just fine, but ever since an AMD graphics driver crash while playing skyrim, MO takes too long to load anything, which in turn makes skyrim equally as slow. I'm pretty sure my graphics driver settings have changed since the crash, and is causing the problem. I don't want to wait 4 minutes just to press "New game", then wait another 3 minutes to create a character. I just want to know specifically what's causing my problem so I can fix it. (It has nothing to do with my mod load order. It worked fine before the AMD crash)
Guest Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Try to remove all your mods (just remove the plugins file) and try to start the game. If you experience the same delay then the problem are not mods but something else (Antivirus? Graphic Driver? ...)
NuclearCooki3 Posted December 20, 2016 Author Posted December 20, 2016 I unchecked all the mods and the game still takes a long time to even start up.. I am still pretty sure it's my AMD driver changing its own settings..
Guest Posted December 20, 2016 Posted December 20, 2016 Do you have any way you can try a different driver?
NuclearCooki3 Posted December 20, 2016 Author Posted December 20, 2016 Not really. Nvidia drivers refuse to install on my computer, so I have to stick with the one I currently have. I have done some research into the problem, and discovered that raising the FPS limit helps a ton.. I just don't know how to do that. :/
