WearingConflictingDevice error, anyone can help me?

It's about one month that i have this error while playing Skyrim. Once appeared, the game doesn't crash (still running) but it is very annoying so i'm here to ask help.

I am having the same problem. I was reading that it was a conflict in DCL and possibly PO but I have yet to test this. It would make sense as I just installed a new PO patch along with a few other mods.

The error (at least for me) it's called by deviously cursed loot, i've checked this into the log file and in tes5edit but i don't know where and what the conflict is.

I had the same problem. For me the fix in the following link worked.

I managed to fix it doing the following:

stopquest dcur_menuconfig

resetquest dcur_menuconfig

sqv dcur_menuconfig - quest was stopped at this point

quit the console for few sec (not sure if needed)

startquest dcur_menuconfig

sqv dcur_menuconfig - all aliases were empty

quit the console for few sec (not sure if needed)

SetQuestAliases dcur_menuconfig
sqv dcur_menuconfig - quest was running and all aliases are populated

 

After that i went to whiterun and had no warnings pop up (good sign), looked at the log and it said that bound girl was spawned in location 1, which turns out to be upstairs of whiterun bannered mare

Alternative to reading all this you could make a bat file with this in it:

No way to know if this will work ahead of time though as i already fixed it on my game.
