i dont think you should use imgur since

i think imgur blocks LL- case in point 

the link was null for me.

 

and just reinstall body textures and it should

be fixed

I had this problem earlier. Turned off mods, ENB, checked TES4Edit. And after hours of looking it was Ethereal elven overhaul one of the downloads said freckles for unp. Thought it just changed textures in that mod but no it was overwriting non elven npcs. pshhh

So first thing, check if anything is overwriting your textures. Also make sure your not mixing texture mods.

Another cause is tint masks. If your using NMM that could be one issue. I moved to Mod Organizer cause NMM kept leaving files after uninstalling(specially tint masks).

And if its not a file issue check in TES5Edit. Find an NPC with the issue, search his name in google and get his ID. Then load all those esps in TES5Edit and see if anything is messing with NPCs.   

A good hint is if your pc is affected its a texture issue. If its just NPCs usually tint mask file or esp is messing with em.

as if imgur was blocking ll....

click on the link, delete the .jpg, once you have load imgur page, you can load the image

 

and of course reinstalling textures won't change anything...

- tesedit, 7, if a mod edit the tintmask, put back what there is in skyrim esm

- data\meshes\actor\char\charasset\malehead.nif, compare with what's there in skyrim bsa

- data\meshes\armor\prisoner\armor_1.nif, compare with bsa

- compressed tintmasks that's bars on the forehead, but maybe this can lead to that too who know

- easier to just put skyrim bsa in mo overwrite folder to find out where is the fail

It's the way Imgur does it new linking with the I in the link to break things like refer control which was being used to break their last attempt at blocking stuff here on LL. Now we will have to wait for something new to come out to break their newest tactic.

You must not pay much attention on LL Imgur always blocks stuff linked here on LL from Imgur. The newest way is with the I in their links to prevent the referer control firefox and chrome addon from preventing their stuff from being blocked. This is the 3rd or 4th time they have done something to prevent stuff linked from them from appearing on LL.

This is a simple lock of the referer in (htAccess and / or Php).
 
If the 403 Error page is displayed, simply click in the browser - address bar Enter key is enough, to delete the referer - do not delete jpg.  lol
 
 
Bars on the forehead has nothing to do with compression.
It happens when exporting (in CK with Ctrl + F4) AND if you use FaceTints with high resolution (1024,2048 etc) CK does not support this resolution.
Bars on the forehead is the lip color.
 
 
Black faces can happen through Morphs / Tri's.
RaceMenuPlugin (Nio) is often the cause of this phenomenon.

By the way, if ENB is used - in [Fix] enblocalini, FixTintGamma is one way to check. Other things like FixSubSurfaceScattering are one way.

If one does not know the cause - then exclusion procedures.


 

What is the last change of the PC?

With ^ Open Console - click on the PC - and then it should be written which Mod made the last change.

 

Also checking the active mods with TES5Edit can be VERY helpful. << This is the most reasonable way to check which mod is not compatible with which other Mod.

I do hope you mean you are reinstalling a mod and not reinstalling Skyrim... Althought that might solve the issue as well, that seems a bit like... overkill.

If you don't see the extra information in the bottom right corner, click the TAB-key once. Then check which mod makes the last edit to the NPC. That is bound to be the offending mod.

Haha i know, i know . I just prefer a clean instal than "waste" my energy on this, i was very very discourage at the time.  and i did not have any save/charracter so.
