tnglng Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Hello everyone I'm a complete beginner here and at modding Skyrim. I've read in another topic that someone suggested to a beginner like me to follow Anatriax's Guide to an Immersive Skyrim here on loverslab. Does this guide can be fully applied to the Special Edition found on steam? Thanksa
seabeast Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 pretty sure at least some of the mods will not work witout skse, so you have to wach out for that.
megadoom41 Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 most of them wont work atm, just stick with regular skyrim for now
tnglng Posted December 12, 2016 Author Posted December 12, 2016 regular skyrim plus dawnguard, hearthfire and dragonborn... right?
GoldenDuck Posted December 13, 2016 Posted December 13, 2016 regular skyrim plus dawnguard, hearthfire and dragonborn... right? Yes.
CanadianBlueBeer Posted December 14, 2016 Posted December 14, 2016 SSE or regular, meh. Depends on what you want to do with your mod. If you aren't going to get into scripting, or fancy things, then SSE is fine. Since anyone with SSE has all the DLC included, if you end up using assets from them, you don't have to worry if the user has the DLC or not. (unlike original skyrim) That alone make some things much easier. Just one version of the mod. No DLC patches required. Also, if you like, you can make them available for consoles. (just no boobies) oh wait, why are we here?
