xprivium Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 This is a reply to the thread: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/42788-sleep-potion-spell-dialogue-development/ That thread has been archived and I cannot reply to it there. The solution is as simple as it can be: 1) Engage in dialogue with the follower. 2) Say that you want them to do something. 3) Click the bed you want the follower to sleep in. 4) Wait for the follower to lie down and be fully asleep. 5) DO NOT GO OUT OF COMMAND MODE. 6) Open the console, click on the follower and toggle their AI off by typing: TAI 7) Close the console and do whatever you want. 8) Once you want the follower to wake up, toggle their AI on by typing TAI again in the console (with the follower console-selected). If you want a non-follower NPC to sleep, just make them temporarily a follower (either via console or via any follower mod) and repeat the steps above. If the NPC is already sleeping and you want them to remain asleep then there is no need for that, just toggle their AI temporarily off.
-alpha- Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 It always seemed odd that we have mods where 5 falmer can rape an NPC but we can't get a follower to go to bed.
Guest Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Console breaks immersion. Follower or any NPC with his AI toggled off is no longer a follower or NPC - he is a static object. And that is the thing that turns my stomach.

And that is the thing that turns my stomach. That is correct. Unfortunately, unless you are happy with using AFT, there is currently no other way, I'm sorry. Maybe some modder one day will spend 10 minutes of their time making a mod that allows followers to go to sleep. As the poster above you mentioned, we have mods that do everything except the most basic thing.
