Museion Posted November 13, 2016 Posted November 13, 2016 Hello again, sorry for my newbish-ness, but I'm trying to figure out BodySlide and Converting armors from another body to the one I am using (CBBE). I found this link: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/35523 with some armors, downloaded it and opened up Bodyslide, started up Outfit Studio and started a new project. From there I selected Convert: ADEC to CBBE Then imported the armor I wanted to convert. So I guess this is where I'm stuck at. Previously using folders that had a Bodyslide Folder, I could just conform all items and then chose a preset and everything would resize to the correct size. But here, first of all the bodies don't even really match up in location or size. And confirming all and setting a preset makes it much worse. And if I just select the CBBE body and load the preset that doesn't help as it makes it bigger, but it's not even close to matching up with the armors. Is there something I'm missing when trying to do this conversion? Edit 1: Side question. Is there a way when I open the ADEC armor in Nifskope that I can point the body to a different Character Skeleton and Body folder. For instance if I were to download the ADEC body and then put the character assets and character assets female folder into a directory like meshes\actors\character\ADEC\character assets and meshes\actors\character\ADEC\character assets female, that way when the armor is selected it just uses those files instead of having to try and do all of this converting? Just an idea. Edit 2: OK so I tried my idea. Created a folder called ADEC in the textures and meshes folders and then in the NIF file for the armor I pointed all the *.dds files to the ADEC folder. For the Meshes, I'm not sure how to do that yet, but I can load up the game and the armor loads and is properly set. But the only issue is the butt. For some reason it's doing this weird thing below. So if I can figure out how to tell the body to use the NIF file in the other folder I think that might do it? I hope I'm doing this right.
