livebyhonor Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 As someone that likes to go above and beyond I have made several pieces of alchemy/smithing gear that grants 45% increase to all pieces. The fact that I can use 9 pieces to make my potions gives me improvements by over 500% . When I make potions it's no big deal, but when I use this over kill on armor and weapons it doesn't work. Last night I made some gear, a daedric sword that maxed out at 50 damage with all that improvement gear and smithing potion going. After 30 mins of quick save reloads I got the best results, 2 pieces of improvement gear and the potion gave me 954 damage. Daedric armor tops off at 153 or so but my black lace panties gives me over 3000 armor. My thoughts is the armor isn't designed to go this high in stats so it starts to go backwards after topping off, or is it just to much over kill that is doing this?
