There was this game series called "command and conquer" (I think) with a robot, an average slow-moving one, that you could hack to give all powerful lasers to and lightning speed. He'd climb a large hill and burn all enemies with his laser eyes in seconds flat. 50 enemes? no problem zap-zap-zap-zap (etc). Now other than making whoopie, which is getting a little *mechanical*, what about huge hulking beast robots that would tower over the landscape, seeking and destroying. "Not lore friendly" You might say. What about Hagravens? Birdie things that breathe asthmatically. Dwarven Centurions? Slow moving hulks that you can kill with a vorpal sword. (The vorpal sword isn't lore friendly, nor the "sword of amazement") Why does my phone ring whenever I get going? O, sorry. Ah...OK the centurions would shoot lightning from their giant paws (or claws), like the hagravens already do. I'm not asking for uh, lasers or Gatling guns, just oversized biggie things that do not eat. Smoke, yes. Eat, no. And they're so shiny!!
