My only guess is its related to http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/2652-doa5lr-complete-nude-remix/ http://www.loverslab.com/topic/54820-doa5lr-a-few-modding-tools-updated-61816/ DLC INI Hack 1.06 Because DOA5LR is now at 1.08A Version. There was an 145 MB patch for it. What it does is take away my story mode and everything which is crazy because I legibly purchased the game off steam. -.- Now steam is basically yelling at me to repurchase the entire game. I'm not willing to do that because sixty dollars for base game is expensive in first place. I think I have to do an reinstall just to get the hacked ini/api removed so that I get my stuff back. :/ On the negative side, it means no naked girls for me in DOA again. Which sucks. If anyone knows how to fix it i'll be happy.

So If you want to download the latest update, you must first, remove all hacks. Set your account online and receive an email confirming that you are indeed accessing your account online. Then allow either: 1. Automatic update 2. Download the entire game again for free as you claim you purchased them already, the updates will also be included 3. Then install the hack mods. Of course, the DLC slots is up to you for purchase. Simple.

I do it all the time since the beginning of the release of the game. I've never had issues with Steam. You just have to adapt to the updates.

How long does it usually take for a nude hack to catch up on a update anyways? Because prior to the 1.08 update, I could play online with no issues whatsoever with my nude hack. Never fought against other people, just played in story line, time attack, etc.

I haven't used any mod tools, I just downloaded the DOA5LR Nude Remix Core DLC 2.7 and DLC ini Hack 1.06 Then followed the instructions, Insert 169169 into dlc folder. Then modify 3DMGAME.ini To delete the excess dlc and include only 169169 dlc and change the ingame language from chinese to english. It worked until 1.08 patch went live.

I realize I'm not very good at the modding stuff. I'm grateful for your help. I access my game through Steam. I launch steam then click on that blue play game button in my list of games. I don't know how to get this lrs, archive tool, and autolink that you mentioned though. Its all new to me.
