znaroks Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 Basically I noticed that osare panties can be worn with cuirasses and other body armors without problems, but panties like "PSLacePanties" cannot be worn at the same time with, lets say elven armor or leather armor. The game considers any of the PSLacePanties as a chest piece or cuirass, or robe or whatever. What do I need to change in TES5EDIT, to make them be able to be worn with a chest piece at the same time, like osare panties. Both osare and the PSLacePanties are set to slot 52-unnamed, so it doesn't seem to be that.
Gameplayer Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Check the armor slots of the armor in question in TESedit, armorAA and Armor entries. Also be sure that the NIF is changed as well if you make changes. As an example vanilla armors do use slot 52 and a few other slots in addition to slot 32. No idea why they just do.
znaroks Posted November 1, 2016 Author Posted November 1, 2016 Jup, the problem was in the nif file, where I had to change it from slot 32 to 52, despite it being 52 in TESedit

Only guessing on Beth's general intent with that, but probably want to make sure that outfits have a certain look and that means unequipping any slots that might conflict. LOL ran into a BSL conversion the other day, they had same. Body slot plus 3 others in AA. So many of my mish-mashed outfit unequipped when i tried on new outfit. Didn't look at esp first .
