Pretty sure gender specific doors have always worked regardless of where they are in Sims 3, right? Unless I'm mistaken from the ones in Sims 2 which I'm 100% certain work. If they aren't it could very well be a glitch.

I don't recall experiencing this bug, but I may have to see if I can exploit it somehow Still, it's frustrating when your Sims aren't the exhibitionist type and someone else walks in on them.
