Hey and sorry for my bad english...

 

i had the same problem (came up with one of the latest nvidia drivers) and only the older driver worked. 

 

check out this tool on nexus: http://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/50470/?

 

and be sure you select the correct name of your graphicscard by generating (if you cant select your card you must write it down, in my case "NVIDIA GeForce 770" and generate a new "d3d9.dll" and paste it in your gamepath: SteamApps\common\Fallout New Vegas
