New Game/Mod Loadout - Missing Hide Helmet Recipe?

Hey LL,

 

So I got back into Skyrim recently, and started to set up a new mod configuration.

 

Everything seems to be working reasonably well so far, except there's one really weird issue I'm experiencing:  

Y'know talking to Adrienne to make a Hide helmet?  Yea, I can't do that.  It's not that I can't talk to her; I just can't make the helmet.

 

My game is outright missing the Hide Helmet recipe or something.  I can spawn them in from the console fine, but cannot make them at a forge.

The bracers, armor, boots, and shield are all available to be forged.  Only the helmet is missing from the recipe list.

 

Originally, I was running Complete Crafting Overhaul Reloaded, and figured that might be the cause of the problem.  I uninstalled it and made a new save with it removed.  Still no good.

 

Has anyone heard of this problem before or know of the mod that might be responsible?  I've googled everywhere and haven't found anything like it. 

 

I'm not too good at troubleshooting for Skyrim modding.  Is there a way I can figure out what's causing this problem aside from doing manual one-by-one disablement of mods?  I feel like I'd go crazy doing that with having to re-make the bashed patch and skyproc patcher for every single mod.

The fastest way to troubleshoot would be to load all your mods in TES5Edit, expand Skyrim.esm, expand Constructible Object subheading and look for RecipeArmorHideHelmet to see what mod/mods are affecting it.

Awesome, thanks so much for that.  I took a few educated guesses and narrowed it down myself rather than going one-by-one (I wish I had seen/checked for your reply sooner!)  I'll probably try it later anyways to get more familiar with TES5Edit, knowing that it can do that kind of thing.

 

For future record in case someone else has this issue, the problem came from Shocky's TERA Rogue armor (the one Dianne converted to UUNP).  I disabled it (and re-enabled everything else), and everything works perfectly.

 

Thanks again for the tips, though!  Another thing to add to the toolbelt to get me out of being a newbie
