1055057309 Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 This has been a persistent problem for me, and I'm surprised that I couldn't find any information about this issue. Problem: When a piece of armor has different color variation, but only one ShapeData for bodyslide, this happens. Details: Assume the armor has Blue, Red, Green as 3 variations, and in bodyslide preview of this armor, you see the Blue texture. After hitting build, in game, all 3 variations show up as Blue, using Blue's texture. (Sometimes, the color does change for some portion of the armor, but the texture difference of, for example, Blue and Red variation, will be missing) It happens to: -Guild Wars 2 Lady Horus -Pretty Witch -A Chinese dress mod on Nexusmod that has 6 variations Is this a resolvable issue? Or is it that having 1 Shapedata means I can only get one variation in game?
MaDuck Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 Have you tried to make bodyslide files for each of the variations of the armor you have?

AnonymousDemon Posted October 20, 2016 Posted October 20, 2016 You would have to make a different "project" file for each color, with separate shapedata and a sliderset. Each shapedata .nif would have to have its textures pathed to whatever color it corresponds with.

Each shapedata .nif would have to have its textures pathed to whatever color it corresponds with. By that you mean different mesh .nif files? How complicated would this task be? I'm really surprised how the bodyslide conversion authors didn't do it You would have to make a different "project" file for each color, with separate shapedata and a sliderset. Each shapedata .nif would have to have its textures pathed to whatever color it corresponds with. What I don't understand is that: the original mod has only 1 nif for all 3 color variations, and it works. How come bodysliding will break that?
