Help mixing armor...

I also found out how to do it on my own now.

 

Uh hi... I was wondering if someone could help me mix 2 armors together.

 

I poked around in nifscope for like 4 days now, but I cant get it to work...

 

My idea was to combine the Dark Illusion armor with the Remodeled Shrouded armor, which will look something like this:

 

Yeah I know the sketch sucks... >:U lol

 

 

The shaded part is the shrouded armor.

Anyway I keep getting error when combining it @_@ I was only manage to edit up to this point:

well i WAS using version 1.1.0 RC6

but I see they have a RC 7 ready for DL

 

and yea those parts can be copied over

to the new one

may have clipping may not

this is just nif mashing

 

just copy the data folder over to your data folder

textures from the DI mod is needed

this only replaces

000dbarmortorso_f_0.nif

and

000dbarmortorso_f_1.nif

sweet glad it worked, I dont use that body

so I didn't test it so thank you for the screenshot

 

I read any tutorial I can and/or watch any video I can on it

though they dont seem to help but they do help over time.

I was doing it all wrong @_@ I was exporting then importing part, when it was all just copy paste.... @_@

good deal !

dont forget when you copy over a mesh

also copy over the mesh's name.

 

sometimes you will have to copy over a bone

like the above mesh did.

think it was NPC R Toe0 [RToe]

and the name is just as important and the mesh part

 

have fun mixing and matching

when you find a neat trick that works post it

here too, im always wanting to learn more
