Editing DDS Map Files

Hello, I am trying to edit the TRI files that are linked into the NIF files. Is there any easy way to accomplish this (I have tried using morpher and failed).

 

I also want to edit some face DDS files to remove the extra hair (mustache and beard). Is there any easy way to do this?
