Extracting Distilled Sound Effects From Movies?

I didn't know where to post this but basically after watching 'As Above So Below' once again I grew rather fond of that one scene where a bunch of people gathered to sing in a rather disturbing choir. So a thought occurred to me to somehow extract that creepy choir and maybe even loop it at the right place, perhaps use it in a horror mod for Skyrim at some point. Problem is I don't have much experience with these things.

I reckon just extracting audio from a movie file isn't a huge problem but there's also other sounds, like the main characters talking. So I was wondering if it is possible to not only extract the sound clip but also edit out anything other than that one particular sound effect? And what programs would best suit this task?



P.S.  Oh, and I'm a huuge fan of dark ambient and such but it is so hard to find good music in this department because it is rare and you have to often sift through amateur artists that like to sample a bunch of cliche sound effects you'd expect from a bad horror movie riddled with cliches. Here's a good example of dark ambient music that I like.
