Facial Piercing and Ningheim Race

Hello everyone! :-)

 

I am trying to use Facial piercing mod with the Ningheim race. However, when equipped, the piercings don't appear.

 

So, does anyone tried the same combo ? Is it possible to do work them together? Or did I failed something during my installation? :-) Just to know if I need to continue searching a solution :-)

I just tried it out ingame and it works just fine. A quick check in the CK showed me that every single armoraddon is correctly set for Ningheimrace too.

Must be something on your end.

 

Forgive me for asking a dumb question, but do you maybe have any mod or setting that obscures or hides bodyslot 44? The devicehider of Devious Devices for example could theoretically be set to hide items. Some wigs do it too.

 

Also i notice that the somewhat wonky headmesh of ningheim can obscure one or two piecings, but not all of them.

That'a a good question. I checked The devicehider of DD but it is not active. Must be something else.

 

For a proof, I tried on a vanilla race and I have the same problem. My apologize, but may I ask you to have a quick look on my LO. Maybe you can quickly see the incrimining mod ? :-)

 

I am building a new installation of Skyrim + mod, so, maybe, I missed something :-)

Couple of things that affect bodyslots in some ways, that shouldn't be problem but might be a problem.

Helmet Toggle specifically is intended to make specific headslots invisible, including the slots for circlets and ears. If this is set up wrongly it might also hide the piercings in slot 44.

Serialstrip and Ammo auto equip shouldn't but could theoretically affect that slot too but you would seriously have to mess around for that to happen.

 

Just so we're clear, the piercings don't show up even when you are completely naked, correct?

They are actually equipped (and don't get automatically uneqipped by some script) but are simply invisible?

Both Devious Devices and Sexlab have options in their MCM-menus that show what is currently equipped to each slot. Does specifically the Sexlab strip-menu show something occupying slot 44?

And out of curiosity have you tried equipping a follower or random NPC with a piercing just to see if it shows up at all?

 

Other than that i could only imagine that the bipedmodels in data/meshes/armor/regnpiercings are for some reason not present or not correctly assigned but a simple fresh install of the mod would fix that.

 

Anyway that loadorder is all over the place man, jeez.

Thanks for your advices. But I think I am stuck for now :-).

 

When looking in Sexlab menu (strip-menu), the slot 44 shows either nothing (when i don’t wear the piercings) or, by example, "all piercing" when I wear the "all piercings".

 

I tried different load order..

I tried different set of piercings

I tried to uninstall Helmet toggle

I tried to launch the game without helmet toggle and without the patches (bashed, merged, in case of I made something wrong here)

I re-installed the mod (by MO)

I tried on a vanilla race and it doesn't appear

I tried on a follower and it doesn't appear

Load order is done by loot

 

In fact, everything looks like even if my PC wear the piercings (like an armor piece) but it just doesn’t appear. It’s sad ! :-(

 

Something should be wrong... I will continue to search and I will post the solution hear if I find it.

EDIT : Hum.. Something new... an alert message from Wrye bash that I have more than 325 mods and autoghosting is deactivated.... Looking for a cure :-) (because I don’t have that much mod…).

Then, after trying different configuration the best I can have is to see only three piercings (Septum spike piercing, Vertical labret piercing and lip spike piercing).

 

However, they look like the textures don't appear  (like a clear blue color).

 

I cannot do more for now, I will accept that like that. :-)
