Nephenee13 Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 Ok so I want to make some modifications to armor and clothing. I used to do this literally the time in Oblivion. So I get Blender 2.77 and the newest NifScripts. I import some boots, edit them, and go to export them. I Import a skeleton and then try to export, and it fails. What, precisely, is the problem? This is the NifScripts plugin build I am using: https://github.com/niftools/blender_nif_plugin/releases
par6six6 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 What's the error message you're getting? Be aware, those nifscripts are in alpha dev, not everything works and not everything works the way you want it to. I gave up and went back to Blender 2.49.

This is the error I'm getting: I hate this so much. Maybe I'll try to get 3ds Max
par6six6 Posted September 17, 2016 Posted September 17, 2016 Sorry, your picture isn't showing up. The most common export error is forgetting to fill in the version info. There's also recent talk on the Niftools forum that armatures are still not fully supported. I understand the frustration, its really annoying. Are these modifications something you can do in Outfit Studio? Or, maybe you can export an unrigged version of the boots and add the rig in OS?

I was doing actual mesh modifications, but I've found alternate sources for much of what I need and I'll plug away at it more in my spare time.
