15 minutes worth of CK ArmorAddon edits to allow child settlers http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/16000/? to wear Vanilla and DLC armors.

 

All DLC required.
Most armors should work, that includes operator, disciple, pack, trapper, raider, suits, etc. For clarity, with Orphans of the Commonwealth, you can give your child settlers armor and weapons, then use "T" to have them equip it. This makes most vanilla and DLC armors and outfits equipable.

 

Intended for use with Orphans of the Commonwealth, but not strictly necessary.

 

Please do not blame me if your PC catches on fire.

I just made it Armorsmith Extended compatible, excluding any dependencies

I'm not sure if it's because I don't have Orphans of the Commonwealth and/or because I use a body replacer (CBBE), but this resulted in children having a scaled-down CBBE body (with the existing child skin textures) when equipping new armour/clothes for most items. Not for all items though, for example the marine combat armor chest piece still used the normal child body, but the clothing items all seemed to give them a short CBBE body which was rather disturbing!

Its good to get some new clothes/armor and weapons for them instead of a bunch of recolors.

darn. at this time i only own the base game and all the dlc is looking pretty rich just for a mod.

is there a version that doesn't require all the dlc.

 

I attempted opening it in F04edit to see if theres some way of disabling the required dlc mods but am unable to open it.

Edit: I asked if it was confirmed to be working, I installed it at it did. It plays great for Orphans of the Commonwealth and I also got to redress the kids in Diamond City

how did you do that and works it also for costum outfit?

After all this years and my new play trough, i want to thank you for this mod, it was the perfect base for me to bring some simple outfits from games into this and make it wareble stuff.

hope you are still active.  you can bring custom Outfits to work with it, but you need xEdit, i worked it out but it takes time for a Modding Newbe like me.
