jancicc Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 recently i started to mod again but this time choosed to make items(armors/weapons). so far i can make weapons from scratch and etc. and i can convert already created armors(nif) into using my body and having BBB support. but i would like to know what u need to do if u make an armor from scratch? like an .obj file not .nif files. like what u need to do in nif files, what values, what to change, optimal polygon number etc Edit: any ideas what's causing this? that happens on both sides, some parts of armor are following hand movements :/ http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/3613/screenshot7jy.png

I cant really help more than that with out knowing what modeling program you use.
Endiness Posted June 7, 2012 Posted June 7, 2012 go into weight paint mode and brush away the weighting from the right hand and/or forearm bones on the pouch. You might have to add some weight to pelvis/right thigh bones if the program doesn't do it for you. Hard to believe whatever skin wrapping script you used would weigh a hip mesh like that.
jancicc Posted June 8, 2012 Author Posted June 8, 2012 well i'm used to work with cinema 4d but as it's unsupported i'm using 3DS max Edit: had to completly re-weight body, was using cbbe body made in sliders, gonna later re-weight armor and it should work. and question what's nessessary to be written in Nifscope when u add for example .obj files as new model?
