[Sims 4 Bug] No Sim selectable

This happened to me: when I saved and quit my game on Friday, everything was fine. Then I went back to the game yesterday and I couldn't select any Sim. Not in my family, nor in any other household. I think I tried around 7-8.

No Sim selectable means I'm stuck in something like a spectator mode, but I don't have a picture in the bottom left corner, as well as no needs, no inventory, no nothing. All these things at the bottom right are also missing.

It's weird because I didn't change anything, just loaded a savegame from the day before...

 

Google didn't really help me, so I thought I'll ask here. Has that happened to anyone else as well? If so, can you provide a solution?

If you're using WickedWohoo, try deleting the wickedwohoo save folder in your save folder found in your documents. I had the same issue and that cleared things right up.

In Manage World don't play your Sims clicking the Big Play Button.

Select your home, your Sims and click the Small Button.
