ok so I am finial downloading the sims 4. any help will be great. recommendations of downloads. where to get skins, clothing and do I need to create a mod folder thank you for your help and ideas.

Hi, believe it or not the mod folder is already there on install. You can CC from the usual places like Mod The Sims and TSR. Also a big difference from Sims 3 is the tray folder. That's where you put premade sims and houses, etc. You have to enable CC on startup and when you go to your library you have to click advanced and check CC or your sims and custom houses won't show up.

Just be ready for a shitload of adfly links when getting your custom CC. Also when getting some CC they may mention you need the original mesh for it to look right get that, you will see it alot on hair retextures.
