Bubbajones_ya Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Okay let me ask this, I've seen you release a few characters over the past weeks and they look really good. How do you go about getting the faces looking so close? Not only does the facial shape look good, but the textures on the face as well. I'm in the process of making Squall from Final Fantasy VIII and I want to make more of the FFVIII characters and starting doing character from other Final Fantasy as well. However with me, it took me several days to get Squalls Face looking where I have it now, and it could still use some work. Is there any special programs you use, or are you just naturally talented at making the faces look good?

If you want you can let me look at what you have made.
Bubbajones_ya Posted August 29, 2016 Posted August 29, 2016 That would be really awesome! If you get a chance to look at it, any tips/hints to make it look better would be greatly appreciated. I may be doing it all incorrectly as well. I'm using Racemenu to make the model for the head, not 3Ds Max (I don't know the process of making new body meshes in 3Ds max, I'm just starting to learn.) If when you see my work and it's is too jumbled up, then I understand if it's too much to look at! I tried looking at the model Racemenu made and comparing it to the standard malehead.nif and the file structure doesn't seem the same so I'm not sure if I can extract the Racemenu head data and import it to make it a standard malehead.nif for a custom race. If not, I don't think that's too big of a deal though. I explained in a text document some stuff but I've been piecing together and editing things from EnhancedCharacterEdit and some other mods to test this out until I have things complete. I didn't want to go through the work of setting up a custom race until I know I have the meshes and texture complete first! I'll message you with the file for the stuff I have so far!
SarBear1991x Posted January 29, 2017 Posted January 29, 2017 Yay! Love this! Hope to see more characters! Thank you! <3
