Hello! I have read all the information, but I am still confused. I downloaded all optional mods except for the bdsm ones because I didn't want those, and I downloaded a lot of animations. This seemed to break the game because one of my characters had no lower body. I deleted all the mods from the folder and now the wicked whims mod works just fine, but the sex animations are limited to the ones that come with it, naturally. I noticed some optional mods conflict with wicked whims, but I am not sure which ones, and possibly some animations do not work or conflict with it as well? I really need someone to help me out and tell me what optional mods and animations to download. Thank you. Also whatever conflict in mods is going on is making my game practically unplayable. It stops working a lot. Like the characters just freeze and stop what they're doing. I've attached a picture of my mods folder so maybe someone can help me figure out what the issue is? And also my Wicked Whims folder.

Possibly!  What kind of help do you still need?  Going through mods to find the broken one(s) IS a pain, it's true.  After the steps I mentioned last time, taking out the newest mods/cc added is a good test, and after that, the best way to go through them is probably the 50/50 method, which if you only have a few is likely not to take too long. If you haven't done it before, it's basically:

* Take out all your mods

* Divide them in half (we'll call them A and B)

* Put in half A and run the game.  Do the thing that causes the error, and see if it does. Close the game.

* Switch out half A for half B and do the same.

* If it happens in one but not the other, do the same thing, halving that one, until you find the file that's doing it.

* If it happens in both, you may have bad ones in both halves.

* If, conversely, it doesn't happen in either, you may have a thing in each half that's fine alone but create conflict together.

...so, yeah, it's a bit of a pain.  But it does work!  (And sometimes it's also good to clear the cache files.)

In case someone had the same issue as me: when sims were taking a bath (shower or tub, it doesn't matter) the nude mesh wasn't showing the penis at all...just like sims 4 without penis mods. But I just used the 'ww.fix_sim_nude_outfit' command and the problem fixed right away for the sim. Also, the 'ww.fix_all_sims_nude_outfit' command fixed all the sims on the household. Just a reminder in case someone else runs on this issue.

 

But other than that, the mod is running good for me with the last update. Thank you @TURBODRIVER

Seems to be Turbodriver's biggest flaw eh....

Of course he should be able to maintain your mods folder and keep track of all your other script mods for you too,

It only makes sense that the all seeing oracle should know what outdated files you might have 

 

Many people will tell you that the mod is working and you've likely not removed the old files from the previous version or need to update or remove some of your other mods,

 

It also helps if you can explain your issue and approach to the situation itself rather than claim somebody fucked up when it's tested before release,

 

Old versions are generally sought out by people with cracked games so you won't find those here, 

Just like support, if that's how you wanna talk to people!

The majority of you who complain on a daily basis are simply not following instructions. I read the instructions and deleted all the old WW files BEFORE downloading the new mod, and I've never had any issue. There are also several other mods that are heavily mentioned that should also be removed as they are now included in the Tuning File. The script errors are also not WW, at least not most of the time; they are conflicting downloads or other mods that YOU downloaded. As R-Lo said, Turbo can't maintain your mod folder. If you can't figure out the problem, how's Turbo (or anyone else) supposed to help you.

Missing lower body usually means you've accidentally got more than one default-replacement lower body mesh in your mods folder.  So, if that happens, first remove all other penis meshes and see if it still happens.  It probably won't (which is probably why removing all your other mods fixed it).   Animations shouldn't cause any trouble, so to start with, try adding back the animation packages (though you might want to put them in a separate 'Animations' folder for tidiness).  You don't need any of the things listed as optional, but if you decide you want them, carefully make sure that you don't have more than one 'default' or 'replacement' of anything.

 

As for what's going on now... that's unfortunately hard to say. If you remove the other mods (the nose piercings and hair and cupcake machine thing) do you have the same issues?  If not, it must be one or more of those doing it.  If so, have you tried clearing your cache?  (http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/help/cache.php has advice on how.)  You could also try taking out ALL the mods and seeing if the problem is still there in a 'vanilla' game.  If so, you might need to repair your game.  Good luck!

Is there any chance there could be some way to mark particular sims as 'off limits' to each other?  Use case: I have a house with several adults in it, and several children -- all sired by just one of the male sims, but raised by all the adults.  ...within one day of the kids aging up to teen, two of the girls were propositioned by their (technically non-related) 'uncles'!  I caught both before anything actually happened, but I really don't want anyone in that house messing around with any of the 'kids'.  I'm happy to have them all do whatever they like with people from outside (or the adults with other adults inside), but I personally find sexual relationships in which one person once changed the other's diapers squicky so I'd like to be able to prevent it without having to try to cheat in blood relationships for people who aren't blood related, or having to prevent ALL relationships between teens and young adults -- which won't solve it once they hit young adult themselves, in any case.

Thank you for your reply. Could you tell me the best optional mods to download? Like to enhance the look of the male and female bodies. I downloaded everything, so that's obviously what made the issue there, lol. I'll do that with the animations and let you know how it goes. I'll play with my mods and see what's what. Also, I looked at the cache stuff, and apparently I just don't have cache files. Is this normal?

I would also like some sort of functionality like this.  It's difficult to play stories when everyone is pawing on each other.  For now, I have the autonomy settings set in a way that romantic relationships matter.  This seems to greatly reduce the likelihood of Sims engaging in shenanigans without my approval.  Since romance interactions don't often happen autonomously, WW rarely triggers interactions between sims whom I have not manually started romances between.  You can also turn off autonomy altogether, but that, of course, stops all WW interactions that you do not trigger yourself.

 

That said, it would be ideal to disallow two sims from engaging in WW behaviors.  Including joining interactions between the one sim and another.  I know very little about modding in general, but with one sim "active" (lets call her Samantha) clicking on another sim (we'll call him John), going to WW and having a bubble saying "Disable Interactions with John".  This would mean only Samantha and John are affected.  This could even be expanded to exclude one sim entirely.  Having Samantha active and clicking on her "Disable all interactions with Samantha" means she is exempt from WW as a whole.  Just a thought!

I get you're suggesting that I'm dumbass who can't read, but I asked because TS4 updates often, and breaks WW. The last time I tried using this mod, the game updated a day after Turbodriver posted a new version, thus breaking my installation of WW.

 

Under the current build, I don't get the option to initiate sex with WW ingame despite having WW installed. I do get the initialization message though. I started a new game to be safe, and I still can't start a sex scene.

Negative, I suggest no thing. But I did want to quote it so that you and others may see the current supported TS4 builds. As for why WW is not currently working in your game, I cannot say. Aside from a glitch here and there, I've not run into problems with WW. Hopefully someone else will be able to help you.

Got a Suggestion, I know I'm not a Paetron supporter yet, but certainly would be if, instead on just random sex with moodlets, I'm wondering if any Prostitution features is being worked on to be added, such as making money for sex.

 

First a Loser sim, could call/order a Prostitute to come over for sex with maybe a sim with a Prostitution trait (Like Basemental Drugs using a drug dealer trait) will come over which will cost a lot of money to have sex with her/him.

 

And for a playable Prostitution sim, they won't have to work, they can spend the day on the streets asking around good deals for sex for passers by for their income, or like running a business.

 

ANyway this will make interesting gameplay, hopefully someone else has suggested this so far.

I agree with these two posts. Mainly for selfish reasons though. I have this family in the game that I want to keep happy and separate from the others in the game when it comes to WickedWhims. I don't want the husband or wife to engage in sex with other people. Only with each other. I know that autonomy plays a large role there but I still would like the interactions between NPCs to be the same. They can have sex with whoever they want. Just not this family.

 

So if there was a way to allow exceptions of some sort so that people don't try to initiate sex with a specific Sim then that would be awesome. That and my other concern but that has already been answered by TURBODRIVER.
