Creatures Framework API reference not found

"Creatures Framework API reference not found"

 

I keep getting that message everytime I start a new game. Does the Creature Framework work at all? I've tried everything I can think of and nothing works. Reinstalling or changing versions does nothing. As soon as I click "New Game", after a few seconds, bam, pops the message and the Creature Framework MCM is not present which will cause problems with my mods that rely on it.

 

Has anyone found a fix for this? I saw an old thread about this but no one fixed it or found the cause.

 

Otherwise, I have to dump all my creature mods. :\
