Returning to skyrim. Need advice on some mods

So after stopping playing like for a year i got bored and said "mmm im bored... lets go back to skyrim (with tons of sexy mods )". So i have a few questions:

 

1.- any good guide to modding (im rusty with that department)?

2.- which one is the most popular body type right now?

3.-nmm or mod organizer?

4.- loot or boss (that was the name no? the thing that fix the load order)

5.-racemenu is still the best?

6.-and finally pie or cake?

 

i have a tons of other questions but i probably just need a good modding guide and couple of hours( with tons of alcohol to help)

and soon will have my beloved futa harem *insert evil laugh here*

I am in the same position as OP, lost interest in Skyrim after 1000+ hours since release and now slowly going back to one the best gaming experiences I ever had in my life thanks to amazing modding community here and all over the World. A bit dissapointed for the lack of good armors and armor sets with T/BBP and HDT PE, but thats just my thing, I am very picky when it comes to that stuff. Glad to see a lot of new content is still being developed daily, you are crazy people!

I'm thinking of getting back into Skyrim as well. I didn't quit from lack of interest per se, it's more that my computer died and I got really busy with other things. When I got this new computer and time to play there were other games to try. I still have a list of all my old mods, too.

 

There was one thing that wasn't quite settled when I stopped playing, follower enhancement mods, like EFF and UFO. I could never find one that worked properly. Is there one that reigns supreme now?
