The anus on CBBE body texture

The first thing that popped into my mind is someone making a 4k CBBE HDT starfish skin with sliders so you can make it take over the entire body.

So here's what I did:

 

Step 1

If you don't have Adobe Photoshop CS4 or above, get it. GIMP also works well but I use Photoshop so these instructions are tailored for it

 

Step 2

Download and install this plugin for photoshop/GIMP that will allow you to edit .dds images here

 

Step 3

After you installed the plugin open up femalebody_d.dds and femalebodydirty_d.dds (if you want raiders to have buttholes to)

 

Step 4

Zoom in on where the asshole would be on the model (femalebody_d.dds and/or femalebodydirty_d.dds)

 

Step 5 (The most Important Step!)

Go to any porn site with nice, big close up shots of a girl's asshole. Use a preferably paler asshole (pale white chicks work best) because the anus will darken as you blend it into the model later on. You can also use any asshole picture you like though, so if you have a favorite pornstar you can use hers.

 

Step 6

Copy the porn picture of the asshole and copy it into Photoshop/GIMP as a new project

 

Step 7

Using the Lasso tool, trace the outer edge of the asshole on the porn pic. I preferably trace just where the taint meets the butthole, and around the anus ridges where the flesh darkens.

 

Step 8

With the butthole selected, copy/paste it onto femalebody_d.dds and/or femalebodydirty_d.dds and position it where the asshole would anatomically be in real life. You may have to vertically or horizontally flip the anus layer, rotate it and resize it to get it just in the right spot.

 

Step 8

Using the eyedropper tool and the brush tool on the softest blend settings, begin blending the anus with the actual female model so that it doesn't stick out like a sore thumb and looks natural. This step is easily the hardest and takes a good eye, attention to detail and lots of practice. Use a larger brush for overall blending and a small brush for blending the images, but make sure not to overdo it. 

 

Step 9

Once your done, save femalebody_d.dds and/or femalebodydirty_d.dds in Fallout 4>data>textures>actors>character>basehumanfemale and make sure you backup your files in case you screwed up!!

 

 

Here are the results I got using this method. It seems time consuming, but in fact once you get the hang of it it doesn't take much time at all. The best part about this method is that its compatible with any custom skin textures and skin effects. As you can see here I have a mod on that makes female NPCs and my character really sweaty with glistening skin.

I've whipped together a quick proof of concept with Outfit studio. There's some nasty polygons making things blocky and I'd have better luck in 3dsMax or something similar I think. But the initial results were quite promising. There's some actual depth to it now and it, well.. it basically gapes in a very block fashion, nothing more. Just for laughs and giggles. I might take a few hours later today to flesh it out, pun intended, and create a proper conversion. It's more a lack of interest in the monk's work that it takes than it is a matter of being impossible. I'm sure it'll work just fine in Outfit Studio with the right amount of fiddling.

 

The bodyslide preset creates a nif file called spreadass.nif in the armor directory. Manually copy it to the characters folder and overwrite femalebody.nif to check it out in game.

 

Anyway, the bodyslide preset plus some screenshots. In bodyslide things look a lot better than in game though, so it's hard tweaking things there.

I've been fiddling with the blockiness and it's looking more smooth. There's still a few polygons misbehaving here and there. It could also use a better texture, that would really add a lot to the quality.

I made a quick and dirty "Anal Cup" slider in BodySlide, and what that is supposed to do is add a slight dip or "cup" to the area around the anus, in an effort to make it feel a bit more believable. The slider should show up at the top of the list.

Made a normal map. Also made a smaller more "average sized" anus texture and normal, may upload that later, but I don't know.

 

Anyway, the normal map is based on the vanilla CBBE normal map. I may also make a version that is saved as a PNG transparency image, to be added to any desired normal map later on.
