Can't get ''Dragonborn'' dlc to work properly

Well, it seems like it. I just arrived in solstheim, and i can't get the usual side quests (the blacksmith one, for instance, or the imperial pendants one). I also fear that, if i will proceed further the main quest, i will encounter the other infamous bug at the first black book (miraak's cutscene not triggering and my character being stuck in apocripha, that is). Any clue on what is causing this? I am using mod organizer.

I have to add that i am pretty certain it has to be something from sex lab framework...something scripted, as well, because i don't recall any of this happening before installing such mods...Ideas on how to fix that?

Honestly I think you just didn't use safe modding practices, Sexlab itself would have no effect whatsoever with dragonborn dlc's questlines.

Well, i am using mod organizer as of now, so i shouldn't have done any major damage. Or damages at all.
That said, i think i can safely exlude from the list of possible involved mods , all the hair mods and werewolves mods (since this issue occurred to me even when i was not using them).
Also, armor and weapons mod shouldn't be involved, as well as retextures..
 

If it's not some script from any sexlab mod gone rogue, then it has to be something which affects NPCs. But i tried disabling ''interesting npcs'' and nothing changed...

Have you tried going to solsteim on a new save to see if the issue persists? Could be a product of removing adding or updating mods mid playthru have you tried save cleaner?

I didn't remove anything during that gameplay, and only added retextures which didn't even have ''esp'' files....
The only mods i do have that in my opinion alter npcs are: interesting npcs and immersive detection of npcs. The first one only adds some new npcs, so i think it is quite safe, while i tried disabling the other one and starting a new game in solstheim with LAL mod to no avail.

I am starting to consider the idea that the alternate start mod screwed something up....In facts, it's one of the few mods i always used while encountering this bug.

Yes, because the Dragonborn Questline triggers depending on two variables. If i remember correctly the Quest won't trigger if you haven't done Horn of Jurgen Windcaller and are at least lvl 20.

Mods like "Timing is everything" let you change these variables.

Edit: I can't imagine that all sidequest depend on triggers as well though. Sadly i can't look into the CK atm to check though.

I will try disabling all my alternate start mods and see if it changes anything...after all, i started already.
