Serithi Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 EDIT: Disregard, turns out the issue was the lights somehow broke. I just deleted them and copied in non-broken versions, all's well now. Â Â Ahh, the time-honored Skyrim classic: Borked shadows. Specifically, the kind where i can't figure out why they borked, since they used to work just fine. Â Â Â Â Â They happen if i'm too close to dynamic shadow lights (by too close, i mean "actually just a normal distance" :v). It's fine enough if i'm further away to soften the lighting, and panning the camera out helps at least smooth the rough edges, but these are both issues i haven't really had to deal with before (slightly rougher shadow edges when i'm close up has always been a thing, but not quite like this, and the shadows were never this harsh). I honestly can't think of anything that i changed before the shadows started being this bad, i haven't touched anything to do with shadows in a long time other than what i tried to do to fix this. Â I've tested with default Skyrim and ENB .ini's, the issue was still present. Â Is this ringing any bells for anyone? I can go snag whatever .ini settings and such.
