Gameplayer Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 I want an ENB that is developed for night time characters, As in Vampires, Werewolves, Khajiit, and other character arch types that travel at night as opposed to daytime. In other words the night time and dungeon visuals need to be far brighter, warmer, and above all PLAYABLE without downloading another mod. At minimum the ENB should feature shadow correction for the shadows casted by the player and npc, Be compatible with NightEye and prefer that it isn't just lip service compatible but actually developed with Night Eye play in mind through the entire game. Base game torches should be serviceable and useful at night without a whole lot of effort on my part. In short, I want an ENB that is fun to play at night with characters that should be able to see better at night than in the day, it seems that to me that this concept entirely escapes the minds of people that have ENB's available for download. Turning off ENB for night time play is not a solution, just shutting off ENB in game for even a moment causes the FPS to skyrocket and has at times sent the objects and npc's into orbit never to return again to Tamerial. Seven willing they are in a better place.
WidowPuppy Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Hey Game. I'm loving Ramp atm, and it includes a tweakable in game GUI. You can adjust the ambient lighting intensities for nights interiors and exteriors with eyes on to get exactly what you like. Of course there are other Enb's with the in game tweakable GUI as well. I know Snap is another. Both of those Enb's come with several presets to choose from that can also be changed on the fly in game.
Gameplayer Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 Hey thanks Widowpuppy, I'll search for that one.
WidowPuppy Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Hey thanks Widowpuppy, I'll search for that one. No prob Game, enjoy. And of course don't forget to save configuration once you've got what you like. Without, or before saving your config. You can just go outside on a clear night, and into a familiar dungeon and play with the setting until your hearts content, not haveing to save anything you don't like. If you happen to do something you don't like however, even without saving config, you'll have to reset skyrim to go back to either default or your last saved config.
Gameplayer Posted August 17, 2016 Author Posted August 17, 2016 Ok, I just loaded game... Without having done any sort of tweaking to the in game config, in Solitude clear day looks nice, and clear night with Nighteye which surprised to see that Nighteye actually looks like it works now... Looks good, do I just remove the DOF, I usually just use Dynamic Depth of Field cause it seems like its easier on FPS and doesn't take much fuss.
WidowPuppy Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Nice Game, glad it worked out. And yes, for Gameplay, I would use the DDoF, for screens... SD DoF. Ok, I just loaded game... Just reread that, lol. I need coffee. Thought it said I do, not do I. You can go into the GUI on the left and simply Disable/enable/save config the DoF whenever you like.
