GHJKL Posted June 2, 2012 Posted June 2, 2012 I am trying to get my barren world populated. But it seems that even adding a single npc adds trouble for me So how do I get the color of the body and the color of the face the same? Problem is not related to any body mods btw, have tried it with vanilla bodies which doesn't help. And when I'm asking anyway, how to add color to the lips?
ThatGuyJonus Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 Not sure if it works with new NPC's but highlight the character details row in the main tool window and press CNTRL+F4 and select Yes to export the data.
y6562 Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 @jonusl2d i did that. it didn't work. started a thread asking the same question but nobody answered. i'm using the oriental beauty mod. it has it's own esp. so now i'm trying to do this. i turned off the esp, make my new npc, load the game, saving (without the oriental beauty esp on), quit the game, then load the game again with the esp on. but i'm still doing my new npc though, gonna reply again after i did all the above.
EvilDragon Posted June 5, 2012 Posted June 5, 2012 This is an very old error. This happen when you create esp for npc without nif file Easiest way to fix this is Run the game -> Load your save -> Turn on the console with ~ key -> click on your npc -> type in snpcw Number can be any from 1 to 100 Hope this help
y6562 Posted June 9, 2012 Posted June 9, 2012 hi. i did what i said i would do, but it didn't work. i followed what EvilDragon said, it did work. but it only works for some, not all. and sometimes after i use snpcw, i went outside from the building where my npc is, go inside again, and the error would come back. but only for some (i have like 10 npcs or so. out of those only 3 works, then my game CTDed). it's so frustrating! must check what's crashing my game... maybe my npcs outfit. they used the juliet school uniform. whenever i load CK, it would say that the outfit have something that is not properly lined (like using unnamed slots other than body, head, etc for biped settings). or maybe too much npcs? i didn't crammed them in one place though. been doing this for days, trying to fix face dis-colour, checking CTDs, without success. now i'm hopeless.
y6562 Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 hi. i find a fix for this. but i don't know if it would work for you. recently i downloaded patches for skyrim, from 1.2 until 1.6. then i install it one by one, first from 1.2, 1.3, until 1.6. after i done that, i open the game and loaded my save, the darker face problem is fixed automatically. hope this helps.
