Best mods to get started with?

Hi,

this is a totally newbie question!

I would like to try Skyrim for its adult themed mods (that's the best game for this, right?). What is a good configuration to start with (which mods - if you have some hints on the dependencies that's also appreciated).

So for example:

  • "Romance" themed quests (for a male character seeking female characters) or "prostitution" feature
  • Imaginative ways to have intercourse
  • Change female game characters to sexy outfit or naked (I've heard about mods where the girls get undressed through battle, does that exist?)
  • Sexy followers
  • I know there's textures, physics optimization etc... just tell me what to install ;-)

I think it would be great if there was such a thing as a "Skyrim adult distro", just like there are Linux distros...

Big thanks in advance for your helpful hints!

Well, for starters you should dl SexLab. That's the Framework for all things Sex related. Most mods need SexLab Aroused Redux too and other dependencies but you'll find out about them on the dl pages^^

For Romance you may want to look at Amorous Adventures.

Armor and clothes for women, just look at the Nexus, theres lots of conversions for this with Skimpy Armors, choose one depending on your female body mod.

Your body mods, theres lots to choose from. For male theres SOS (Shlongs of Skyrim) or SAM (Shape Atlas for Men) that I know of. Female mods gets you more. CBBE, UNP, 7B etc. Check the Nexus an choose for yourself what you find aesthetically pelasing.

Sexy followers, depending on what you want. The run of the mill follower with the usual commentaries? Loads of them on here or Nexus. Followers with custom voices, theres Vilja, Sophia and others (I believe).

For physics, you may want to check out All-in-one HDT pussy (or something like that), it's a package with lots of options you can chose from, body mod, skin, etc.

Can't help with the imaginative ways to have intercourse cause you play a male (I think?) and I don't know any. For females, there's lot's more mods that can get your PC into trouble, like slavery and devices (though there's devious devices for men I think?).

Anyways^^ start with SexLab and scour the mods for things you may like. There's a mod for everything somewhere around here ;)

Hello Anicae,

thanks a-plenty :-)

Yes, I think I would be playing a male... why does that make a difference, there's always a girl and a guy involved, right? Except for gay scenarios of course...

Maybe you or anyone could clear one thing up for me: I've heard about animations and that they can contain the different ways how to characters in the game can do it together. But how do these fit into the game? Can you just use them on any character you encounter? Is there a game construct "having sex" which is kind of like combat, except you get to use these animation? What's the deal?

Well, the thing with gender is, that there's mods especially centered around females getting into trouble^^ Slaves, devious devices and such. Most mods, as far as I know, are centered around the female getting enslaved to a sex crazed owner or something along those lines. Sanguine Debauchery for example.

Now that I think about it, you might want to look at Mias Lair, http://www.loverslab.com/topic/36882-sexlab-sex-slaves-61-may-11-2016/

It's a great mod in my opinion, gives some followers and the option to train your own Slaves, if that's something for you^^

Concerning your other question, SexLab is an animation framework (so you need FNIS), you could use it without any other mods but wheres the fun in that? ;) How it goes is mainly, you walk up to an NPC and, depending on your mods, choose the option to have sex with them and an animation sequence will run. That's about it.

It will keep you busy^^ It took me around a week to install Skyrim and everything I might want to work together and without any problems :)

Good luck.
