Okay I really want to make a nice preggo body for my custom bodyshape

I remember seeing someone post a picture explaining how to do it.. but it was far too complicated...

So can anyone "break down" how I can make a preggo belly in blender?

thanks!

Yeah, depending on how much you know about Blender, and in particular Skyrim nifs this can either be a doddle or nightmarishly hard.

Assuming you know nothing about either, this page has info on importing and exporting to Skyrim. http://wiki.tesnexus.com/index.php/Creating_an_armour_for_Skyrim._Part_1

If a better way exists, please tell me by the way, it's currently a pain :P

If you know nothing about blender though, start with http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro.

That will get you the basics of using blender. A simple pregnant mesh wouldn't be too difficult once you know what you're doing in blender.

Alternatively, the easy option is to just wait for me to get around to starting my Skyrim maternity clothes thread :)

What exactly do you need help with?I'm less than an amateur myself with blender but being a bit more speciffic might help people help you.

Well I have no idea how to make a preggo belly in blender' date=' I tried doing some methods like using sculpt - inflate, but the results are were horrible :(

I've done some conversion work with blender and body edits, so I'm not exactly lost when it comes to blender (just making the preggo belly im lost)

Thanks, but I'm trying to make this for oblivion:)

If you know how to make it with oblivion, I'd love your help

I generally start in edit mode, and select a vertex on the naval. Set proportional editing to as large as you can get without deforming the back, and drag it out to roughly the size you want. Then I scale along both the x and z until it is nice and round. Scale I usually increase the proportional editing a couple of notches, just below the breasts starting to deform.

That will get you the basic shape, and works well enough for most normal sizes. My fallout meshes have also been heavily re-weighted to get them to animate well, but if you're not good at weighting (I know I'm not :P) it's quite difficult.

Try first what Evilrunner said and if it wont work for you then start a model yourself.Personally i find it harder to edit existing models rather making one from the scratch.

In the end it comes down to what works for each person.

You probably are right, after all,the few things i've created in blender weren't for oblivion.I said it by only thinking about its design.Personally, the fact that i create the object, make the groups and layers makes me feel more comfortable in handling the object.

Anyway,i did tell the OP to follow your suggestion,i just added a different POV just in case.

Thanks evil, great advice:D

But.. I can't get a nice big round belly to save my life

I'm trying to get a belly like "Type 3", and maybe just slightly bigger.

Would it be a bother to ask for your hand in this? If so here's the Upperbody

I suck at it:( lol

Odd, your file is refusing to download. Don't normally have issues with mediafire (it's where I host my maternity clothes)

Any chance you can zip it up and add it as an attachment?

O, no problem at all

I'm not being impatient or anything, take your time:blush:

I'm just grateful that someone would do this for me
