Remove glitched clairvoyance trails

In my mod i added a clairvoyance enchantment that can be applied to jewelry. It updates every 4 seconds.

 

The problem: Sometimes the clairvoyance trails stay in one place forever. My guess is because of saving while using a item with the enchantment.

 

Any kind of script that runs every time the player enters a cell that removes the trails?
