WLBH Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 Hi all. This is a way more active and supportive group than Nexus forums so I figured I'd give y'all a shout. Okay. So here's where I'm at. I have NO other NPC texture mods installed. I have SKSE, SkyUI, USLEEP, the hi-res texture packs, Purity, Flora Overhaul, and some combat mods. These have been working fine for as long as I can remember. Everything is clean and sorted in LOOT. I install everything via NMM fomod installers except when otherwise noted in this post. Anyway. I installed UNP because I wanted more feminine women in the game. I did the manual install of DIMONIZED UNP (pasting the textures and meshes into the skyrim/data folder) and this went off without a hitch. I see an NPC, I "unequipall," bam, naked. Cool. PROBLEM ONE: I then installed the UNP armor replacer: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34102/ The "texture pack" and "clothing textures" seem to have gone off without a hitch. However, when I install the "armor" part, I run into two issues: the "MaddBag" or whatever does not show up in the MCM. Similarly, all armor looks like the vanilla armor. Couldn't get 'em to work, ever, uninstalled. Okay so moving on. I then got greedy and decided I wanted a little more, so I attempted to install UNPB: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/37900/? This is the full fomod installer via NMM that is supposed to also include new skeletons, BBP, etc. Except that - PROBLEM TWO - installing it simply reverts all textures back to vanilla. I "unequipall" on a female NPC and they're flat as a board on both sides wearing underwear again. If I want to uninstall this, I have to manually reinstall UNP to get it to work again. So I uninstalled those, reinstalled UNP manually, and I was back to square one. Only UNP loaded. I also decided I liked how Bijin's ladies looked, so I installed those mods via NMM as well, went through the installs... and then PROBLEM THREE happened, where all of my female NPCs disappeared except for their eyebrows, gums, and clothing. I guess my questions are - 1. can anyone help me with ANY of these? (I've personally contacted rxkx22 about the bijin missing meshes issue but who knows how long they'll take to get back to me). 2. And does anyone have any insight as to why none of these mods work when I'm following the instructions to a "t"? At the end of the day I would just like UNPB bodies, BBP, compatible armors (maybe a LITTLE skimpier but not outrageous?), and the Bijin face mods. Help me get there. Thank you!
street2 Posted August 4, 2016 Posted August 4, 2016 1. Install http://www.loverslab.com/files/file/676-xp32-maximum-skeleton-extended-xpmse/ with all requirements 2. Install http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/49015/? - its way better than any standalone body mod since you can make armors with Bodyslide Files fit the Body you are using. After installing 2. navigate to Common/Skyrim/Data/CalienteTools/Bodyslide - Double Click Bodyslide.exe and choose the Bodytype you want, then you can make some changes to it if you want to, after it click Build. Do the same for hands and feet just in case they are still invisible. Big Advantage is you dont have to uninstall/Reinstall Bodys if you want to use another. Just open Bodyslide and choose the Bodytype you want. UNP, UNPB and many, many other Presets are included. If you install http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53996/? you can choose a HDT Body. 3. The first sentence in the Armor Replacer you mentioned was "i dont develop this mod anymore" so I guess its some kind of Problem with the Mod itself? Dunno, but other Armor Replacers include http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/67896/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/34100/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/68028/? http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/47376/? Those definitely work. Edit: 4. As for invisible women all around Skyrim - I guess when uninstalling a Mod all the Meshes/Textures for women got uninstalled too. To fix this you will have to reinstall them, either through some "Beauty" Mods or through validating Files in the Steam Library. Careful with validating a modded Game though, it can break your game forcing you to reinstall everything.
WLBH Posted August 4, 2016 Author Posted August 4, 2016 Hey, I should have been a little more clear regarding problem three - these are all independent issues and not in any chronological order. The missing texture/mesh issue happens when ANY of the Bijin mods are active, and if I deactivate them in NMM the problems immediately resolve. Will try the xp32 skeleton, HDT, and bodyslide and report back.
WLBH Posted August 5, 2016 Author Posted August 5, 2016 Alright, new problem. Tried to install FNIS, got this error: FNIS Behavior V6.3 8/4/2016 9:59:04 PM Skyrim: 1.9.32.0 - C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\ (Steam) ... ERROR(2001): templates\defaultfemale_Template.txt What's that all about?
WLBH Posted August 5, 2016 Author Posted August 5, 2016 Worth noting that Fore is utterly unwilling to resolve that issue and has been for months, his last post on the matter as best I can tell was "Discussion over. You don't seem to understand that it is my time which I don't want to waste on things I don't see any reason for. "
WLBH Posted August 5, 2016 Author Posted August 5, 2016 It seems the root of ALL these issues is that NMM is not downloading the full files - the Bijin problem is happening because it downloads large parts of the FOMOD installer, but NONE of the meshes and textures.
PervyPotter Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Have you tried downloading manually to see if you get all the files that way? if you get them just use NMM for installing, personally I never use NMM to download, too high a chance of broken downloads.....
RUD3DUD3 Posted August 5, 2016 Posted August 5, 2016 Hi all. This is a way more active and supportive group than Nexus forums so I figured I'd give y'all a shout. You Bet it is. Nexus Feels like Living in North Korea to me, so as long you don't say a single word you are fine if you say something you are banned. sad thing is you have to deal with it as it is the only place to get mods.

As for the FNIS error - just delete the txt file and rerun FNIS and it should work.
WLBH Posted August 7, 2016 Author Posted August 7, 2016 Alright, new problem. When I do this, I run into the same issue. It just doesn't extract most of the files.
WLBH Posted August 7, 2016 Author Posted August 7, 2016 Fixed the issue, FINALLY. Okay. I am running the following armor replacer now: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/7305/? which I found from another member here. However, when I run that, OR when the characters are nekked, I've got no... uh... bounce. I've applied the body that I want in bodyslide (Outfit/Body: Unified UNP HDT, Preset UUNP - UNPC) and I hit "build." Nothing. I've got HDT and the XP32 Max Skeleton installed. Possible build order problem? Is the armor replacer not HDT compatible? Thoughts?
WLBH Posted August 7, 2016 Author Posted August 7, 2016 Also I assume that these two warnings are supposed to tell me something, but - they don't. Is the XPMSE skeleton not installing, is that what's happening here?

The mod you linked doesn't have any mention of HDT, TBBP or any other form of bounce, so it's safe to assume that the armors don't support it.
WLBH Posted August 7, 2016 Author Posted August 7, 2016 Figured that was it. Sigh. Tough to find much of anything that's at least BORDERING on lore friendly and works with HDT, huh? Any reason I'd be having that issue when they AREN'T wearing armor? I would figure that if nothing else if I were using a UNP body shape built in Bodyslide, I'd at least see a difference between that and standard UNP, no?
Leo77 Posted August 7, 2016 Posted August 7, 2016 Figured that was it. This one's compatible so I'll try it out. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/75861/ Any reason I'd be having that issue when they AREN'T wearing armor? I would figure that if nothing else if I were using a UNP body shape built in Bodyslide, I'd at least see a difference between that and standard UNP, no? Just because the body was built in bodyslide doesn't mean it will have bounce, you need to make sure you choose a HDT body, then apply your preset on it. Of course you'll need a compatible skeleton and a hdtm.xml.
WLBH Posted August 7, 2016 Author Posted August 7, 2016 Gotcha, yeah, I'm using the UUNP HDT body preset, the HDT physics, and the XPMSE skeleton, as noted in Post 11. Problem is that it doesn't look like the skeleton is applying/activating, so even when I apply all that stuff in bodyslide it doesn't change anything. Reason I think the skeleton isn't applying is that the MCM shows "XPSME Skeleton: 0.00000000."
Leo77 Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 It's possible your XPSME skeleton is getting overwritten by a skeleton provided from a different mod, make sure the files from the XPMSE mod are getting loaded last (not esp load order), also obligatory if you use a custom race you might have to replace the files in its own folder too. Disclaimer: I don't use NMM, so i don't know how exactly it works/what functions it has.
WLBH Posted August 9, 2016 Author Posted August 9, 2016 Yeah, no custom race and I'm loading it after anything else that would touch the skeletons.
WLBH Posted August 9, 2016 Author Posted August 9, 2016 Okay, it's all up and running now. Last issues: No matter what bodyslide preset I select, it doesn't seem to load - everyone's just got massive jigglin' cans no matter what. But that itself only applies when NPCs are wearing armor (not nude). When they're nude they have a standard UNP body. Except Lydia, who for some reason has bigger boobs than everyone else when naked.
Leo77 Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 You have to batch build all the armors in bodyslide with your preset selected, then put all the meshes into your nmm so that they overwrite the older meshes. Should work without issue afterwards.
WLBH Posted August 9, 2016 Author Posted August 9, 2016 Gotcha, okay, that worked for the armors but still not for the bodies. I've still got the Dimonized UNP body installed, is that possibly the problem? I assumed I needed that to work with a UUNP body and use bodyslide but I've been wrong before. A lot. If I disable the UNP body in my mod manager it doesn't solve the problem. But there's gotta be something real simple I'm missing.
Saric92 Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Gotcha, okay, that worked for the armors but still not for the bodies. I've still got the Dimonized UNP body installed, is that possibly the problem? I assumed I needed that to work with a UUNP body and use bodyslide but I've been wrong before. A lot. All you have to have to work with UUNP Bodyslide is just have the UNP derivative textures, along with some presets, or just make your own with the presets/bodies included in BS. If you want to be really sure you have the body right, load up your BS and select the UUNP set that you want in "Outfits", then do your preset. Build the body, then go after the armors. If you're using a custom race, you need to be sure that you're bringing the mesh files from your main skyrim meshes folder to your custom races. So if you're trying to copy over to a ningheim character for example, take femalebody_0/1.nif files from Data\meshes\actors\character\character assets and throw them into Data\meshes\actors\character\Ningheim (or wherever your custom race folder is).
WLBH Posted August 9, 2016 Author Posted August 9, 2016 Right, I just installed the UNP textures and the mesh originally as per the instructions (installing the femalebody_1 and femalebody_1_hdt) in the /data/ folder. I assume, then, I should delete those and re-run bodyslide?
Saric92 Posted August 9, 2016 Posted August 9, 2016 Right, I just installed the UNP textures and the mesh originally as per the instructions (installing the femalebody_1 and femalebody_1_hdt) in the /data/ folder. I assume, then, I should delete those and re-run bodyslide? The meshes you should if you're working with BS. The textures should be fine, as long as they're UNP based textures. Rebuild your body in bodyslide along with the armors and clothes that you want and it should be fine.
Ammox Posted March 30, 2018 Posted March 30, 2018 I know this is a dead topic, But I had to literally bow down to You beautiful people here. I had been having the same problem as original poster in that when I install any skins with UNPB, it caused multiple faults: invisible bodies, ugly seams, uneven tones, among other things. I got no help at Nexus.. But thanxxx to all of you that hsave very generously replied here, I've sorted my SSE problems out. I honestly cannot thank you all enough. Just wanted to let you know, you're appreciated
