Armor/clothing mods and glossiness

Most armor and clothing mods remove gloss when equipped;

Also every clothing I tried from bbp armorpack removes the glossiness too. Is there a way to fix it perhaps? or maybe can you modders out there include glossiness in your mods?

I think the armors don't really remove the glossiness, but include nude textures without gloss for the uncovered parts. But I may be mistaken. ???

Sounds about right.

 

You should be able to test it with a mod like 'Inner Wear':

The 'top and bottom' models replace the whole body, whereas the shorts alone keep your main body.
