june123 Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 Hey, it's June here an lately my game as been having CDT's left and right and I have no clue why. I use loot to organize my mods and take special care to hand load the mods that specifically state cant be loaded with loot, and yet I still get CDT's and from what I understand none of my mods should conflict! So I figured maybe someone who is more of a veteran at modding could look over my load order for me and maybe spot some mods that could conflict . I've also been looking into getting a crash log for skyrim but when i do crash they never come up :/ here is my load order. Alpia Posted July 30, 2016 Posted July 30, 2016 if your loadorder would be the problem you would allready crash on startup loot does it job perfectly fine if you got rnd ctd's thats more a memory or papyrus thing. specify the kind of crash you have like you crash on startup, in loading screens, animation start, other mod specific scenes or just rnd in the world make sure you use sheson's memory patch make sure you either use enb or enb boost http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50214/? look trough this guide if your crashes are appearing rnd you obviously dont have to do everything in the guide, but read trough it and decide what you may try
june123 Posted July 31, 2016 Author Posted July 31, 2016 thanks for the hasty reply and no i dont cdt on start up its when im out and about in the world just walking around ill have to look up a guide on how to reliably install the memory patch
Comrade Isbariya Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 Also have a look at the guide I linked in my signature. (It makes Sheson's Memory patch obsolete) But it provides a lot of improvements if it comes to stability and performance.

Intresting didnt know the crash fix plugin now includes (or better works with) sheson's memory patch and his skse plugin preloader. I would try it, but my skyrim works just way to good to change anything atm.
Alpia Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 thanks for the hasty reply and no i dont cdt on start up its when im out and about in the world just walking around ill have to look up a guide on how to reliably install the memory patch its pretty easy no guide needed its also in the guide I linked, but I think you may rather take a loot into the guide "Isbarya" linked it includes some newer things like the crash fix plugin still if you just want to try the memory patch you simply have to: 1. Download and install SKSE 1.7.1 (or any newer version) 2. Go to Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim/Data and see if you have a SKSE folder with an SKSE.ini file inside. If you do, add these values to SKSE.ini if not create a text file and add these values and save it as SKSE.ini: [General] ClearInvalidRegistrations=1 [Display] iTintTextureResolution=2048 [Memory] defaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768 scrapHeapSizeMB=256 Still again I recommend you to watch the guide "isbarya" linked I like it and I think it will help you just read carefully so you also understand what you are doing http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/74427
Comrade Isbariya Posted July 31, 2016 Posted July 31, 2016 I don't know exactly about Shesons Memory Patch (or however that guy is called ) But as far as I understood the one from crash fixes forces the game to use Windows' Memory Allocation instead of anything else, without any exception and therefore the preloader has to be loaded before anything else and the game starting up itself - or at least something like that. But well, who actually cares? It works. No crashes anymore, no freezes (and they were plaguing me randomly like crazy!) nothing at all anymore. Assuming that you installed your mods the right way and nothing is conflicting there, but LOOT is a great help on that one. Oh and just saying, my SKSE.ini looks the same, excluding the Memory section off course.
