Hair as Helmet?

I've been spending a fair amount of time trying to iron out the wrinkles with using Gawdzilla's amazing NPC Body Variety mod The Spice of Life (http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=16668), which allows for multiple followers to utilize different body types simultaneously. The rough patches are the not-so-novice friendly guides to utilizing your own faces to replace the vanilla faces this mod will go with. However, having surmounted that obstacle, I now have a new one: hair.

 

Gawd's mod, while truly amazing, makes using a hair replacer such as Apachii Hair pretty much impossible. The reason seems to be, when going into CK to edit your NPC follower and create the new facegendata with your new face, you cannot open both TSoL.esm (the spice of life) and apachiihair.esm, as CK throws a shit-fit about opening multiple master files and refuses to load. As such, you can still edit and create a beautiful new Lydia face (for instance), though you are then stuck with lame Bethesda hair.

 

So, the million-dollar question: Can hair replacers, such as Apachii, be somehow turned into helmets or wearable items that would overlap existing hair? I know it seems like a somewhat shitty fix, but just curious if (and if so, how), this is even possible. Cheers.

Open SkyrimEditor.ini in your skyrim' date=' and change bAllowMultipleMasterLoads to 1.
