cruxbone Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Hello, I'm desperately asking for help regarding the installment of UIExtensions by Expired(http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57046/?). Skyrim refuses to acknowledge the existence of this mod, no matter what I do. Any mods or specific features of certain mods which require UIExtensions are currently unavailble for me. For example, system just repeat 'UIExtensions mod is required for this to work' when I try 'TP to knockout' in SL Defeat. At first, I reinstalled the mod manually, which of course didn't matter. I placed the mod at the highest place possible beneath mater files in load order , which didn't work. I used SkyProc Patchers(mainly for Perkus Maximus) for patching mods up, but still no... SKSE, SkyUI, SL Framework, and most important of all, Skyrim itself are up to date. Certainly checked that UIExtensions.esp was enabled. I would really appreciate any support or advice for figuring out the cause of this stalemate. p.s I haven't tried installing UIExtensions before the mods requiring it. I wonder if the installment order matters? LoadOrder.txt
Nick501 Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Okay well first things off, are you using NMM, MO, or doing this yourself? Secondly it shouldn't matter which you install first so long as they're all in the right order. So run LOOT and see if that helps, and beyond that it would help to know if you're installing through a manager (and which one) or if you're doing this manually.

I checked the contents of folder(UIExtensions.esp and UIExtensions.bsa) before manually installing. So far, both NMM and manual installment resulted in failure... And yes, the load order I attached were copied from LOOT after sorting. Mmm.. Is there anything else I can try?
Nick501 Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 Okay so NMM says there was an error? I recommend at this point that you try downloading from another mirror, and if there's an error in NMM please post what it is. I personally use MO because it's a little more straightforward about what information it gives you and how it installs the mods. I would also like to inquire why you need UI extensions? You have Sky UI so unless you're mkaing mods or using a specific mod that needs it you should be fine with Sky UI.
cruxbone Posted July 23, 2016 Author Posted July 23, 2016 Alright, I just searched for other mods which requires UIExtensions, and experimented with AddItemMenu(http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64905/?). Well, this one works fine. Which only makes me all the more confused. LOL Phew.. okay, I'll rephrase what I mentioned earlier in the first post. I need UIExtensions to work with SL Defeat(http://www.loverslab.com/topic/19941-sexlab-defeat/) for its in-mod-features. 'TP to tiedup' and 'TP to knockout' requires UIExtensions. It seems SL Defeat don't recognize UIExtensions. It just keeps saying 'UIExtension mod is required for this to work.' Is using MO instead of NMM will help?
Nick501 Posted July 23, 2016 Posted July 23, 2016 I personally use MO since it installs things faster and IMO more efficiently. If you are trying to do this with SL Defeat and other mods that require it are working I recommend reinstalling SL Defeat as it is clearly the problem. So long as other mods requiring it are working Defeat is the problem, not the UI Extender.
cruxbone Posted July 23, 2016 Author Posted July 23, 2016 Reinstalling SL Defeat worked! Thank you for your help, Nick.
