How to change custom companions armor?

And I'm trying to make her wear modded armor, but the option to remove her old isn't there. I'm assuming this tradeable companion gear mod ( http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/file.php?id=8530 ) doesn't affect it, so I'm curious how I can do so since the mod images show her wearing modded clothing.
