Lag During Cell changes

I have some questions real quick I have alot of mods I am looking to reduce that number to get more stability

 

1.) Does having more ESP's make your game slower? As compared to say having all mods merged into 1? I am not actually going to do that cuz i know the consequences with scripted mods etc but I am just wondering for informations sake.

 

2.) Lag during cell loads meaning when I am walking in a direction for like 5 sec the cell will load new things into it I get a major spike lag, does anyone know why this is exactly?

 

3.) If anyone could give me some good ini tweaks that has helped them out with performance etc I would be willing to try them out

Having a lot of mods to load affects the length of your loading screens, and it can - depending on the type of mod you use, your PC specs and all that stuff - even lead to theses short spikes. For example using insanely high res texture replacers on a non high end machine.

 

I don't know your PC's specs, nor do I know what type of mods you use, or if you use any ENB with or without graphics. My modlist is superlong too, even deadly heavy on scripts, I'm using an ENB with graphics and I do not have these problems.

Ram: 16gb ddr4

 

I am just going to have to do it the old fashioned way and just test things out one by one, maybe you can post your ini's? I think I don't have mine right.

Oh well the infamous GTX1080. Isn't it said to lack performance on Skyrim?

Other than that your rig isn't worse than mine, so it should be able to run Skyrim smoothly after all.

 

My inis wouldn't help you, as I did a lot of personal, mod and ENB related tweaking to them.

 

If you're not using any ENB already, you might want to give it a shot, even without graphics, it helps a lot. A guide can be found here in case you need it: http://wiki.step-project.com/guideENB Forget that if you're already using one.

 

Then, look at the first point in the guide linked in my signature, about the memory allocation thingy. It may help with these lags too.

The GTX1080 gives me better performance than my 780ti did I get good fps its just every once in awhile my fps dips to 0-5 and then goes back up again and i notice it occurs something like everytime i move from one cell to the next (outside)

 

i'll try that allocation thing to see if it helps thanks!
