Can anybody help with retrieving old mod files? and Some other stuffs.

Hello, I have started a new save file with major updates like: Frostfall 3.1.1, Campfire1.8, Sexlab 1.62, Zaz animation pack 6.11, Defeat 5.3.4, SD+ 35, and added new mods like more nasty critters with all of the requirements.

Now the problem is that I am getting too much CTDs. Before I could load up my most recent save even if it CTD by just loading up a previous save but now I cant do that. Even if the old save never CTDs at load the recent one always does.

Now there is two possible reason for that one is too many scripts and another one conflict.

The script issue might be because there is huge script hungry mod like: Sands of time, Frostfall, Ineed, hunterborn and the above mods I mentioned and small script hungry mods like religion, immersive Ai overhaul and climates of tamriel.

The conflicted issue is almost surely the new Zaz animation pack 6.11 conflicting with something and thus I cant use the latest SD+. So do you guys have the earlier SD versions which used to use zaz animation pack 6.07.

Also Any advice on helping my issue including advices related to script lag check and other stuffs is welcome.

And what should be the memory block cache what should the value be? At the moment it is set as:

defaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768
scrapHeapSizeMB=256

UPDATE: I rolled back to zaz animation pack 6.07 and the CTDs ended up decreasing a lot. SD+ is still the same version 35.

UPDATE: My load order: loadorder.txt

I'm using the "crash fix" from nexus, plus the memory allocator patch with default settings and it solved all CTDs/Freezes for me.

Second thing is, scriptlags don't seem to lead to CTDs for me. (May be due to the patch or not) but they were easily noticeable.

To solve scriptlags, open your skyrim.ini file and put these lines in:

[Papyrus]

fUpdateBudgetMS=1.2

fExtraTaskletBudgetMS=1.2

fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0

iMinMemoryPageSize=128

iMaxMemoryPageSize=512

iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=76800

(God I had to type it by hand O.o Why can't I just paste it?) Anyway, that's the default setting - I'm running another setting myself, als I somehow managed to run into new scriptlags even after using this one. ANd I know the pain of super scriptheavy mods. Default settings should work fine though if you're not overdoing it like I am. :D

I hope it helps with the CTDs. My Skyrim runs perfectly stable. As for the mod - sorry, I'm running everything on the newest updates and I've never used SD anyway. (There are just too less mods for males out there :C )

You're welcome. Hope it helps. :)

should I delete this:

defaultHeapInitialAllocMB=768

scrapHeapSizeMB=256

in my skse.ini file if I use your:

fUpdateBudgetMS=1.2

fExtraTaskletBudgetMS=1.2

fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0

iMinMemoryPageSIze=128

iMaxMemoryPageSize=512

iMaxAllocatedMemoryBytes=76800?

I never touched my SKSE.ini file at all, so if these are the default settings, leave it untouched, if you have put them inside the ini by yourself you could try if it works that way, if not try without these settings.

The only thing I ever changed was to set Memory Allocation thingy to 1 (though I don't remember which ini it was in, but it's in the description of the nexus fix I posted) I'm just runnign several skse plugins to fix various things and for some mods. But they're of no interest in this case.

Do you use MO and can you give me your loadorder?

Ok, I tried your fix and I have only one thing to say. If I knew you in real life, I would have given anything you want, even sex ;) I have been at it for a fucking week now and could not find any fix. All day just changing up load order, switching back to versions just to find the problem. I even reported some bugs resulting on this shit. I was at wits end when I posted it here and got reply after so long :'(

From the bottom of my heart thanks :')

Well I know your pain. I've fiddled around with a LOT of stuff for about a week too, when my game used to freeze randomly, and couldn't be quit anymore. I had to reboot my PC. Or I got random CTDs without any notice, nor could the reason be predicted.

I have started a few new games (thanks to racemenu and my preset I never lost my character <3), changed load order, got rid of stuff, tried new stuff.

When I was about to give up I stumbled across the "crash fix" on Nexus. I didn'T even think that it would work, but I decided that it couldn't get worse anyway so I installed it and followed the description. From that day on, Freezes and CTDs were history.

Then I ran into scriptlags, did 2 days of digging into all and everything google had to offer, couldn't find ANYTHING until I found the post with the initweaks I posted. The first post had another setting though, which made things even worse, but after reading through several threads, pages and postings I finally found these, and they worked like a charm. (Like I said I had to adjust them a little more because of my script craziness but yeah, still working like a charm <3)

So you're welcome again. As for the reallife stuff... well eh... you made me blush hehe. Glad I could help. :)

EDIT: I'm not using any Mod Manager at all, but if you're still interested in my load order for any reason I'll try to get it for you. :D
