Sixpaths22 Posted July 13, 2016 Posted July 13, 2016 I was experiencing CTDs in the castle for the longest while, but after messing with my enblocal.ini and downloading the SKSE.ini and other suck edits, I am able to get to the area under the moondial. Now whenever I enter that area I CTD. One point I made it all the way to the Valerica's Lab, but when I loaded the save there I CTD as well. So I deleted that save thinking it was bloated and started over, going straight to the dawnguard quest. Entered the castle, became a vamplord, made the moth priest a thrall, all without issues this time. But crashed in the area under the moondial and can't progress from there. I downloaded crash fixes and this is the error it returned.  http://puu.sh/pZEG8/12e922137e.png  I have tried each of those fixes. That number seems to change but I have only screen shotted one. I don't seem to have issues anywhere else, however I don't know if the soul cairn would give me issues because I haven't made it there yet. If needed I can post my load order or Papyrus log as well, I run loot, but MO seems to conflict it but I ignore it.
Sixpaths22 Posted July 14, 2016 Author Posted July 14, 2016 So after playing for hours today with no CTDs, I can assume it has something to do with Dawnguard. I haven't woken Serena yet or anything. Maybe it is something about the castle.

Maybe it is something about the castle. It is very much something with the castle, I have the same problem. Only that im 100% unable to enter Volkihar Castle in the first place! Meaning I had to start a brand new game and use Alt. Start to start as Dawnguard, even with a fresh game I would only CTD whenever I loaded Volkihar Castle. HELP US!
