Cell crashing when trying to open it

I really don't understand it.

Some times it crashes... some times it doesn't.

 

Why exactly does this happen? its not corrupted, it works in game and one good days with the CK...

so what gives?

Do you have any content you've added to that cell?  If so, then something you added might be corrupted.  Make a copy of your .esp and start removing what you've added one piece at a time until it stops.

 

Edit: If you want to find out for sure if it's something you added, first try loading the cell without your .esp loaded.  If it refuses to crash, then it has to be something you added.

 

Here's how you remove a record using the CK.  When you first start it up, click File->Data.  Find your .esp and highlight it, then click "Details" down at the bottom.  Find the record you want to remove.  Highlight it and press the Delete key.  It will toggle the "ignore" flag for that record (and throw a silly little confirmation dialog at you), which means that it won't be loaded and it will be left out entirely if you re-save it.  It sounds like you will need to test it repeatedly for each record you delete.

 

If that doesn't help, then as Mickster said, buggy CK.  I think that's one thing we can all agree on. LOL
