ceruleanboar Posted May 27, 2012 Posted May 27, 2012 So I'm seeing a seam/discoloration on the lips (mostly noticeable with only certain lip styles). You'll see it on the upper lip here: http://static.skyrim.nexusmods.com/downloads/images/6554-1-1338079955.jpg those aren't shadows. At first I thought it was just an issue with navetseas skin, but then I started to notice that it was a problem on every single skin tex I would try. Though less noticeable on some others. I've disabled every single mod I have and only setup the face textures, but I still see the issue. This is a new computer, and I don't remember having this issue on the old one... I'm beginning to think it must be some issue with my skyrim preferences or something. anyone have any ideas? Or has anyone seen this before?
FastestDogInTheDistrict Posted May 28, 2012 Posted May 28, 2012 That's weird... that pic looks as if it's a modded face with vanilla lip-textures or something - as though the area around the mouth has been skipped altogether... Which texture is it - is it several applied over the top of each other, plus meshes as well maybe? Perhaps you could try uninstalling & removing all your face & body mods via your NMM, then manually delete all face, body & hair mesh/texture files - including .esp's - from your Skyrim>Data folder, then start again from scratch, using fresh downloads from the Nexus.

[/quote'] I did remove everything. Just a plain vanilla skyrim. I only installed the cbbe body, then the face/skin textures. The one in the screenshot is navetsea's skin texture. I don't think it's using vanilla lips because the vanilla lips have more pixelation around the edges.
