MikeJones84 Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 When I disable vsync in the Skyrim.ini and force vsync in my video card the game runs great, absolutely smooth with no screen tearing. But I also get those crazy glitches that come from disabling vsync, like teleporting whenever I activate an object, or havok objects exploding for no reason. If I install an FPS limiter and set it to 60 then I start getting screen tearing again and the game seems less smooth, almost the same as if I never disabled vsync. So is there a compromise here so I can get the same performance of disabling vsync but without screen tearing?
Nick501 Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Okay so you should first post your specs, in theory you should have a nice middle ground, but that all depends on your specs.
Comrade Isbariya Posted July 21, 2016 Posted July 21, 2016 Aren't you using ENBoost? With our without graphics? It lets you limit your FPS without installing whatever else and improves performance.
