cgf Posted June 25, 2016 Posted June 25, 2016 Hi, since Steam is having a sale, just wonders if it is a waste of hard earned cash to get the official DLC, in order to use DLC mod instead of TMC mod. So the question is, will nude DLC still work with DOA5LR after DOA5LRv1.4? Also thanks for creating these nice mods.

If you got the game officially, there are no issues on how to get the game to run the new DLCs. Though technically you can go the gray area route to get the DLCs free or do it legally. Then you can apply the TMC/TMCL (lrs) swap technique or Autolink to get the mods to work

It is true most of the DLCs are not on sales, but the cheapest DLC containing a DLC file for each of all the females is on sales, and it is one of those DLC that is not a complete waste of money, only partially. Used to mod GTA 3 & 4 series, and other 3D games with anime skins. Just prefers to forgo the tweaking and get on with it easily. But if tweaking is required, might as well forgo buying the DLC and use that money to buy one or two other anime games. So funny too, the Senran Kagura DLC set costs more than the Steam version of the Senran Kagura game.

Each time KT updates via steam, the game exe and start up exe also gets updated to make the installed game recognize the updates. Again, if you want to go by the gray route which most of loverslab uses (i.e. the nude modes) you need to install the hack of 3DM. I mean no insult to all other members but I am using the original base game (paid for it) and also using the hacks to enable the "naughty" mods lol! There are other "sites" that offer some hacks and DLC to enable the game to run. But you still need to install the 3DM hack.
